We are dedicated to collecting, preserving, restoring, displaying, and operating railway equipment for the education and enjoyment of the public.
MRPS Membership is 100% volunteer, including our Board and Officers. We are from every age, profession, background and Skill level. Some of us love steam; others are hooked on diesel. Some of us volunteer at the Roundhouse; some simply support what we are doing through their Membership dues. But there is one thing we all have in common: the determination to preserve the equipment and facilities of Northeast Ohio railroading past.

Interested in railroad memorabilia? Join us at the Cleveland Railroad Festival at the Historic B&O Roundhouse, 2800 West 3rd Street in Cleveland, on June 27th. A wide assortment of items representing multiple railroads will be offered for sale, a few of which are pictured here. In partnership with Cleveland History Days and American Steam Railroad, the Festival offers the opportunity to see Freedom Train 250 (formerly Reading 2100) under steam in a setting that dates back to 1907 and has been operational continuously since then. Doors open at 11:00 AM. Admission is $25 for adults with discounts for children. NO GROUPON TICKETS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS EVENT!
