May was filled with memorable experiences, exciting achievements and plenty of reasons to celebrate across Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio!

Last month, Club members:
• Visited Fieldstone Farm, where they connected with horses and left feeling uplifted and inspired
• Attended a performance of The Outsiders at Playhouse Square
• Celebrated 8th grade promotions and high school graduations
• Participated in the annual BGCNEO Spelling Bee
• Wrapped up the school year with field days, picnics, cookouts and plenty of fun

Thank you to the members of the Northern Ohio Golf Course Superintendent Association for spending time at our Broadway Club helping prepare the baseball field for summer! ⚾️

Their team did an incredible job getting the field ready for Club members to enjoy in the months ahead, creating a welcoming outdoor space where kids and teens can play, stay active and have fun.

We’re grateful they returned again this year to support our Club and the young people who rely on it!

Our members had an amazing time creating and learning through a hands-on flower pot planting activity that combined art, STEM and creativity, along with homework help and free play with volunteers.

Because of partners like Panda Cares, Club members across Northeast Ohio have the support they need to learn, grow and thrive. 💙

Through support for Project Learn, Panda Cares is helping strengthen academic success at our Clubs by providing homework help and tutoring, engaging learning activities, family engagement opportunities and positive encouragement for young people every day.

We continue to hear from Club members and staff that this support is making a real difference. From more structured tutoring during Power Hour to increased confidence and engagement in schoolwork, kids are building the skills they need for great futures.

Thank you to our friends at ALDI USA for spending the day with us at our Elyria South Club!

The ALDI team rolled up their sleeves to help refresh our game rooms, tackle projects that had been sitting on our to-do list and, most importantly, spend time playing games and connecting with our kids.

We’re incredibly grateful for ALDI’s continued partnership over the years — not only for their generous financial support, but for the extra hands, energy and encouragement they bring to our Clubs.

Want to be part of Race for Kids without running or walking? Volunteer with us on race day!

We’re looking for volunteers to help create a fun, welcoming experience for participants, families and supporters at Race for Kids on Saturday, June 20 at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

Volunteer roles begin at 6:00 AM and wrap up by 10:00 AM. Opportunities include check-in and registration support, cheer zone, water stop, greeters, route marshals and more.
