Ten years ago today the destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) was attacked by terrorists while at anchor in Aden, Yemen -- 17 Sailors were killed in the attack. Today we commemorate the 10th anniversary of the bombing of USS Cole, the extraordinary effort of her crew in saving the ship, and our shipmates lost that day.
