Bradley County Trustee’s Office Announces Collection of 2026 Property Taxes

Bradley County Trustee Tim Akins announces that the Trustee’s Office has officially begun collecting property taxes for the 2026 tax year.

Taxpayers have several convenient options for making their payments:
• In Person: Visit the Bradley County Trustee’s Office at 1701 Keith Street NW in Cleveland.
• By Mail: Mail payments directly to the Trustee’s Office.
• After-Hours Drop Box: For added convenience, payments may be placed in the secure drop box located at the main entrance of the Trustee’s Office.
• Pay by Phone: 833-591-7276

“We want to make the property tax payment process as convenient and accessible as possible for the citizens of Bradley County,” said Trustee Akins. “Our staff is ready to assist taxpayers and answer any questions they may have regarding their 2026 property taxes, as well as provide information and assistance with the Tax Relief and Tax Freeze programs.”

The Trustee’s Office is also currently accepting enrollment for the 2027 Partial Payment Program, which allows property owners to spread their property tax payments throughout the year rather than making one large payment. The program offers taxpayers the convenience of automatic bank drafts, helping ease the financial burden of paying property taxes in a single payment. By making smaller, scheduled payments throughout the program year, participating taxpayers can have their annual property taxes paid in full by the end of the payment cycle.

“Our goal is to provide taxpayers with convenient payment options and programs that help make managing their property taxes easier,” Akins added.
The Bradley County Trustee’s Office remains committed to providing efficient, courteous, and dependable service to the citizens of Bradley County.

Trustee employees are mourning the loss of the Mayor's son. Please keep the Davis family in your prayers.

Yesterday, our family lost my oldest son, Blake.

Blake passed away after a long illness. He was 48 years old. He was a husband to Mollie for nearly 25 years, a dad to their three kids, and he worked at Ocoee Utility District. But to me, first and always, he was my son.

I’ve lost my parents, and I’ve lost brothers and sisters, but there is something different about losing a child. It’s not supposed to be this way. No parent is meant to outlive their son. And right now, that reality is something I am really struggling with.

Over the last several years, and especially in recent days, so many of you have prayed for Blake and for our family. I can’t put into words what that has meant. Thank you for every prayer, every message, every call, and every act of kindness. We’ve felt your support, and it has carried us more than you know.

Right now, we’re grieving, and we’re holding tight to the people we love most. If you would, please keep Mollie and their children, and our whole family, in your prayers in the days ahead. We’re grateful for you, and we’re leaning on our faith and on this community.

Bradley County Trustee's office will be closed Monday February 2, 2026. We will reopen Tuesday February 3, 2026 at 8:30 AM. Stay safe and warm.

Out of an abundance of caution, and for the safety of the public and our employees, all Bradley County Government offices will be closed on Monday, February 2, due to continued hazardous road conditions.

While many main and state roads are clear, a large number of back roads and rural county roads remain iced over and unsafe for travel. With temperatures expected to stay below freezing until tomorrow afternoon, these areas are unlikely to improve until later in the day. Anything frozen now will likely remain frozen until then.

Please use caution if you must be out. County offices will reopen on Tuesday, February 3, for regular business hours. Stay safe and warm.
