🏠 Just a friendly reminder that the Cleveland Housing Court Resource Clinic is happening TONIGHT from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at📍 Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 4423 Pearl Road. Stop by and connect with more than 20 community organizations and service providers offering valuable information and resources for Cleveland residents!

❤️ EMS will also be on-site providing free blood pressure checks.

Whether you have questions, need assistance, or simply want to learn more about the resources available in our community, we invite you to stop by and join us!

Judge Cheryl M. Wiltshire, and Housing Specialist Ebony Butler, joined community partners today for a Senior Brunch and Resource Event dedicated to adults 55 and older. The event brought together local organizations committed to supporting residents with reliable, easy to access information on housing, home ownership, and long-term stability.

Representatives from the City of Cleveland’s Department of Aging, The Legal Aid Society, the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging, and others were on site to provide guidance, answer questions, and connect attendees with meaningful services. Sponsored by the Metro West Community Development Organization, this complimentary event offered older adults a welcoming space to learn, engage, and strengthen ties within the community.

Housing Court Specialist, Carl Kannenberg, attended the Ward 14 Community Meeting on September 17th at the Northern Ohio Blanket Mills Building. Emily Lee from Metro West CDC hosted with 32 residents in attendance. Discussions included nuisance properties, Housing Court and landlord/tenant issues with reps from CPP and Building and Housing. Several of our Housing Court Magistrates had the privilege of attending the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Women in Law Kickoff Luncheon, where they had the opportunity to connect with fellow legal professionals, and celebrate the achievements of women in the legal field. The event provided a fantastic platform for our magistrates to network, share their experiences, and gain valuable insights from other accomplished women in law.
