As a member of the OhioLINK library consortium, the Cleveland Institute of Music, along with Case Western Reserve University is upgrading its integrated library system (ILS) to the Ex Libris Alma and Primo library service platform (LSP) in late June 2025. The Robinson Music Library is closed for Winter Break and will reopen on Monday, January 13.

Continuing our library tradition of assembling "care packages" for library work study students during Finals week. We appreciate our student workers who help make the library a great place to study and work! ❤️🍪🎹📗

Join us in welcoming the Kulas Music Collection to its new location in Kelvin Smith Library on Friday, Sept. 27, at noon. Enjoy musical performances, a talk and a reception while exploring the art gallery exhibit that covers the history of sheet music publishing from the Tin Pan Alley era.

July 22-August 20: The Library will be open 12-4pm Mon-Thu (closed Fri-Sun)

August 21-25: The Library will be open 9am-3pm (closed Fri-Sun)

Please use the Library Appointment and Materials Request form to request access to the collection or for materials to be left in Pogue Lobby near the security desk during times of expected very loud construction noise and HVAC disruption.

May 20 - 27: Library Closed
May 28 - July 14: The Library will be open by appointment 12-4pm Mon-Thu* (closed Fri-Sun) Mondays preferred
*Appointments are unavailable on June 7, 10, 19
July 15 - August 20: The Library will be open 12-4pm Mon-Thu (closed Fri-Sun)
