Thank you to everyone who put on their dancing shoes and joined us at our Prom with a purpose this past Saturday! Along with good music, impactful stories, and stunning views, we were able to raise well beyond our goal by over $25,000. A huge thank you to all of our generous attendees!

Introducing the 2026 Seeds of Literacy Student Ambassadors! These students truly encapsulate what it means to be a Seeds student both in the classroom and in the community. We can not be more excited to continue giving them the opportunity to share their stories and inspire future students to take the first step towards obtaining their GED.

The Land recently interviewed three of our student ambassadors to learn about their GED journeys. Jonni and Guylain are both going to walk the Seeds Graduation stage this June and Selina recently achieved her CNA certification from Tri-C! Its almost time to go out for a prom night with purpose. Join Seeds of Literacy on May 16, 2026, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, at The Lantern Room for an unforgettable evening filled with second chances, school dance nostalgia, and the power of adult education. Prom Royalty Stephanie Haney & Mike Polk, Jr. and all guests will enjoy music, dancing, photo opportunities, refreshments, raffle prizes, and plenty of prom-themed surprises, all while supporting free education for adult learners.

Come dressed to impress and help us crown the night’s impact by raising funds that open doors to brighter futures for Seeds students. Tickets include valet parking, two drink tickets, and heavy hors d'oeuvres.

Let’s make this a night to remember and a future full of possibility.
