Today, regional partners are launching Cuyahoga TOD—a collaborative effort to create vibrant, connected, walkable neighborhoods along Cuyahoga County’s key transit corridors.

This new partnership brings together County Planning, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, the City of Cleveland, the The Port of Cleveland, and Cuyahoga County to align zoning, land use, transportation, and investment strategies across the region.

It also highlights TOD‑focused RFPs, RFQs, and available sites—making it easier than ever for developers and communities to connect and build around transit.

The six communities participating in the initial Unified Zoning Code cohort "have different goals for the project, but they share a common concern: outdated or inconsistent zoning has made development harder than it needs to be."

More fun!! 🚴‍♂️

Join Mayor Brunello for his 3rd Annual Bike-With-a-Mayor this Saturday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m.

We will meet at City Hall and take a 7-mile bike ride throughout our community. The ride is intended for experienced cyclists as this is a lengthier ride. Grab your bike helmets and let's explore our beautiful community together on two wheels!

One year ago today, we hosted a kids footrace to celebrate the opening of the new Birdtown Connector Entrance and Park Pathway in Madison Park.

This new park entrance and pathway created direct access to Madison Park from the Historic Birdtown Neighborhood and Harrison Elementary School. Its completion marked a major milestone in Phase 1 of the Madison Park Master Plan, developed by City of Lakewood, Ohio - Municipal Government and Cuyahoga County Planning Commission.

While I am no longer in a leadership role with Friends of Madison Park due to my service on City Council, I see every day how much this infrastructure has improved activation and connectivity between this city park and its adjacent neighborhood. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this project to life!
