Originally from Toledo, Abby is a lover of all things Great Lakes and a firm believer in the promise of Ohio’s waterfront cities. A proud Denison University graduate, she joins our team after four years serving as a Strategic Projects Manager in the City of Cleveland Mayor’s Office.

When she's not helping shape the future of our region, you can find Abby enjoying life along the shoreline — biking through Detroit Shoreway, playing volleyball at Whiskey Island, or creating her next pottery masterpiece. 🚲🏐🏺

🎓 Graduation season is here, and the Port of Cleveland's board and staff are getting in on the celebration!

Thank you to the American Society of Highway Engineers and the Association for Bridge Construction and Design for welcoming our VP of Urban Planning & Engagement, Linda Sternheimer, aboard the Lady Caroline to discuss the Port of Cleveland’s role in the transformational Irishtown Bend Project.

We were honored to join Sean McDermott from Cleveland Metroparks and Joe Ferenczy from Osborn Engineering for an engaging discussion about collaboration, infrastructure, and the future of Cleveland’s waterfront.

Our Chief of Engineering, Matt Steele, and GIS Specialist, Gabby Eisel, recently attended the Student Symposium & Conservation Career Expo at Tri-C’s Eastern Campus! 🌱⚓

Coordinated by Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, the event connected the Port of Cleveland with nearly 100 students in grades 7–12 from across the county. Students had the opportunity to showcase action projects, meet local conservation professionals, and explore the many conservation and environmental career pathways available right here in Northeast Ohio.
