The Cuyahoga County Department of Consumer Affairs helps county residents avoid scams and resolve disputes with companies. Have a consumer problem or question?

Our Division of Consumer Protection resolves consumer disputes against businesses, investigates scams and warns the public about current scam threats. Our Division of Weights and Measures checks the accuracy of scales, dispensers (such as gas pumps) and timed devices (for example, air pumps and laundromat dryers.) Call us!

Get help navigating SNAP Changes. Thursday, May 28th from 11 AM to 1 PM there is a community listening session designed to support older adults and others who may be impacted by upcoming SNAP changes. This event is an opportunity to hear important updates, ask questions, share experiences, and connect with trusted resources and trained navigators who can provide one on one assistance. Attendees will receive guidance on benefits, work requirements, and using the Ohio Benefits Portal, along with access to helpful materials and onsite support services.
