Old Brook High School Old Brook High is a high school serving students who would be traditionally enrolled in grades 9-12,

Old Brook High School serves students who may have fallen behind in credits, have difficulty passing state tests, are at risk of dropping out, or just need a new start. Old Brook High is a high school serving students who would be traditionally enrolled in grades 9-12, aged 16-21. These students may have fallen behind in earning credits, have difficulty passing state required tests, are at risk of dropping out of school, or just need a new environment in which they can succeed. Old Brook High students do not enroll in a specific grade level but rather in the "Old Brook High School." We target the population of students whose educational needs have not been met at any meaningful level. Old Brook High is an alternative for the non-traditional student. The Old Brook High model catches the students that are falling through the cracks and empowers the community with more contributing adult citizens.

This past Saturday, our amazing Old Brook High School staff volunteered at the Old Brook Street Fest! We are proud of our staff for taking the time to get involved, support our community, and help make this event a success. Their willingness to volunteer shows the importance of teamwork, community involvement, and coming together to make a positive difference.

Our students had an amazing time at the Beck Center practicing theater! 🎭✨ They had the opportunity to step outside of the traditional classroom and explore their creativity through acting, practicing different theater techniques, and working together as a group. It was a fun and engaging experience that allowed our students to build confidence, express themselves, and enjoy learning in a completely different way. Our students celebrated and embraced Hispanic Heritage by learning about different cultures, coloring their native flags, and expressing pride in the traditions and heritage that make each culture unique. 🌎❤️💙💚💛

It was wonderful to see our students being creative while celebrating the rich history, traditions, and diversity of Hispanic cultures. Activities like this give our students an opportunity to learn from one another, appreciate different backgrounds, and celebrate what makes our school community so special. 🎨
