The Ohio Center for the Book @ Cleveland Public Library is dedicated to promoting and celebrating books, reading, literacy, and libraries to Ohio's citizens and the book community at large. The Ohio Center for the Book @ Cleveland Public Library maintains a growing collection of fiction and non-fiction books written by Ohio authors. This circulating collection is housed in the Literature Department at the Cleveland Public Library.

56 years ago today - May 4, 1970 - the tragic events at Kent State University occurred. One of THE best introductions to that history is the heavily-researched nonfiction graphic novel *Kent State: Four Dead in Ohio* by Ohio's own Derf Backderf . It is one of the best examples of what comics can uniquely do to tell a story. If you haven't added it to your "To Be Read" list yet, you owe it to yourself to do it.
