Case Western Reserve University has launched Breakthrough Point, a $2.5 billion comprehensive campaign for the university. A centerpiece of the campaign is the opening of the new Roger E. Susi Interdisciplinary Research Building.
The 189,000-square-foot facility brings together faculty, researchers and students to advance collaborative and translational research across advanced materials, energy technologies, climate science, neurotechnology, and therapeutics.
The building name recognizes a $50 million gift from Roger and Kayoko Susi. It also serves as the second lead gift of the campaign, alongside the $125 million gift from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation announced in April.
