I am super excited to be able to run for RE-ELECTION for the Tarkington ISD School Board Position 1. What a great opportunity to continue to give back to the community that has given so much to my family and me.

I grew up in Tarkington and am a proud graduate of THS Class of 1988 (a loooong time ago). I went on to play collegiate basketball at Oral Roberts University where I earned a BS in Education (HPER K-12) and a Masters in Business with an emphasis in non-profit management. I am married to the most amazing man, Preston and have been incredibly blessed with 2 beautiful kids, Braden & Jessica.
I have been fortunate to manage, teach, coach and lead several organizations, teams and groups throughout my life and currently serve alongside my husband, Preston, as the Lead Pastors of Liberty Church, here in Cleveland. 🙌🏻

One of the reasons I believe God has placed me here on earth is to help encourage people to walk in their potential as they discover their purpose in life... in other words, I love to help people win! So running for School Board is not a new thing for me, I have devoted my life to helping those around me, as well as, the next generation succeed and working to create solutions for better communication and teamwork.

My husband and I are passionate about empowering and mentoring students of all ages to become all they were created to be and have developed AIM TEAM CAMP out here on the prairie with the purpose of Cultivating Champions. Each year we host hundreds of students for summer camps, team building, retreats, and field days where we invest into them as we encourage them to fulfill their own individual and unique God-given potential.

I am excited about the direction of TISD and especially grateful to work alongside our new Superintendent, Dr. Elna Davis and look forward to the ways I can continue to help TISD serve our students as they grow and excel. Our community is really something special and I believe our BEST DAYS are in front of us.

Hello Tarkington Family... I am asking for your support and vote as I run for re-election this November for Position 1.

Tarkington is a very special place and I am honored to call it home. It's the place where I grew up and it's also the place where my kids have grown up and gone to school. It's been my honor serve in this capacity for the past four years and I would like the opportunity to continue.

Going in I didn't really have an accurate picture of what being a School Board Trustee meant... that's always an interesting learning curve😬 but I am grateful for all I have learned and the opportunity to serve alongside some really fantastic people.

There is more work to do for sure but believe our best days are ahead of us. With the addition of Dr. Davis as our Superintendent I am expecting TISD to return to her days of educational excellence. Dr. Davis has already brought a level of excellence and accountability to many areas and although change is difficult I am confident we are on the right track.

I am passionate about empowering the next generation, cultivating champions and investing into the community and school district I love and I would appreciate your support and more importantly covet your prayers as we move forward.
