Power to the People ✊🏽
Progress didn’t happen overnight. From the end of slavery to the fight for voting rights and representation, every milestone reflects courage, advocacy, and collective action.
At NORA, we honor this legacy by empowering individuals today with the tools, support, and opportunities needed to build stronger futures. Because civil rights progress is not just history — it’s a responsibility we carry forward together.

🏀🔥 Students vs. Police Basketball Showdown = EPIC! 🔥🏀
On February 20th, the Northern Ohio Recovery Association (NORA) teamed up with the City of Cleveland 5th District Police and the incredible students and staff of Willson Elementary School for an afternoon to remember — the Students vs. Police Basketball Challenge!
The evening tipped off with a high-energy Basketball Skills Challenge designed by former Harlem Globetrotter, Greg Bell — and let’s just say, the competition started STRONG! 💪🏽✨
Then came the main event… and WOW. From the first whistle to the final buzzer, the game was neck-and-neck through all four quarters. Every basket by Willson’s team and staff brought the crowd to its feet with thunderous cheers! 🙌🏽🏀
Students, parents, teachers, and officers filled the stands with excitement, laughter, and community pride. It wasn’t just a game — it was connection, unity, and positive engagement in action.
Moments like this remind us what partnership truly looks like. 💙
Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success. We can’t wait for the rematch! 👏🏽🔥
