A positive update on Grevy’s zebras from Lewa Wildlife Conservancy! 🦓
Good news from the Lewa-Borana landscape! 🦓
During last month’s survey, we recorded 234 Grevy’s zebras, including 207 at Lewa Conservancy and 27 at Borana Conservancy. Among them were 28 foals and 7 juveniles, a promising sign for the future of the world’s most endangered zebra species.

Symbolic adoption and giving immensely supports our friends at PCRF. Their rehabilitation program gives pangolins like Sparky a second chance at life in the wild — read below for an inspiring update!
👅 Tongue Out Tuesday! 👅
Sparky is giving us his best Tuesday tongue out mood while hitching a ride with Pangolin Guardian Kaqece during his daily foraging adventures.
Just a few months ago, after being rescued from an electric fence, Sparky couldn’t walk, couldn’t eat on his own, and had lost the use of his tongue. Today, he’s spending 4–8 hours a day foraging, gaining weight, and showing off that tongue every chance he gets!
Every little milestone feels huge when you’ve watched an animal fight so hard to survive. We’re incredibly proud of how far this special pangolin has come. 💚
