New Ohio law went into effect on October 6, and Leslie is breaking down what you need to know.

Under House Bill 20, after receiving a warning from an emergency service responder, a person can face criminal consequences for knowingly approaching or remaining within 15 feet if they interfere with the responder’s ability to perform their legal duties or threaten the responder with physical harm.

At AJLJ Law, part of our job is keeping you informed. Laws change, and knowing what the law actually says can help you better understand your rights, your responsibilities, and how to protect yourself.
