As we wrap up Lupus Awareness Month we couldn’t go without sending a special shout out to local cities and their officials. Every year we contact various municipalities across the state in hopes that they will consider offering a proclamation recognizing Lupus Awareness Month or World Lupus Day. This year’s response was incredible! Thank you to Rita Piccin, Patricia Lyons, and Rachelle Roy for their hard work behind the scenes to obtain these! We want to personally thank the following areas:

Cleveland Heights, Garfield Heights, Highland Heights, maple Heights, Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village, Parma, Parma Heights, Solon, Toledo, Valley View & Warrensville Heights!

Thank you for recognizing Lupus Awareness Month and shining a light on a disease that affects so many in our state and around the world. It means more than you realize!

Thank you to all of the organizations, volunteers, and fundraisers who worked hard to on so many events this May. The response was overwhelming. We are sorry that we could not make it to every event but please know that your support means the world to us!

What a blast we had this afternoon learning about art therapy! A huge thank you to all our attendees and instructor! We hope you all had fun!

Kelly and Steve stopped by the office today. 3 years ago they started their annual Links Fore Lupus Golf Outing as a way to raise money to support patients in Ohio. This years event took place at last Friday, and was a massive success. With the help of friends, family and local businesses they raised $7,336!

We are always amazed at what a determined lupus patient can accomplish and Kelly is a prime example! She and her husband always go above and beyond in their support of our organization and we couldn’t be prouder to call them friends. Thank you to everyone who worked hard to help support this event. It truly means the world to us 💜
