- A member of the Court for 22 years, Taronda Montgomery, a graduate of The University of Akron (BA - Political Science/Criminal Justice and a MS - Administration of Justice) with a background in residential and management, began her career with the Juvenile Court as a Detention Officer. After working in the Detention Center, Taronda began working in the Probation Services department and has served as Specialized Dockets Case Manager, Specialized Dockets Coordinator, Probation Manager, and currently holds the position of & Special Services Manager. As Intervention & Special Services Manager her responsibilities are inclusive of leading, directing, and managing the work activities of 14 wonderful, and dedicated professionals in two units: Community Service Coordinators and Early Intervention and Center (EIDC) Care Coordinators.
Service Coordinators , track, and place youth in various community service sites in Cuyahoga County.
EIDC Care Coordinators utilize strength-based case management to support and youth and their families. EIDC Care Coordinators also ensure that youth are linked to a referred community-based services.
Join us in welcoming 11 new additions to the Juvenile Court Family. On March 13, 6 Probation Officers, 3 Detention Officers, 1 Due Process Hearing Officer, and 1 Legal Services Clerk kicked off their Day 1 experience meeting and taking a photograph with Administrative Judge O'Malley and Judge Celebrezze.
Along with the teachers and staff of the Downtown Education Center, family members and friends, the Juvenile Court is proud to announce that after completing the State of Ohio high school requirements, 4 more Detention Center residents walked across the stage today to receive their high school .
The Downtown Education Center located inside of the Detention Center is a Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) school that provides a positive learning environment, based on a rigorous curriculum, and opportunities to maintain a high level of achievement utilizing the State of Ohio standards and CMSD pacing guides that prepares students for re-entry into their school of choice. Since 2019, the Downtown Education Center has had 50 .

Congratulations - The Juvenile Court is proud to announce the promotion of Keri Bryant to the position of Specialized Dockets Manager. Keri began her with the Juvenile Court almost 15 years ago as a Home Detention Secretary. Since then, Keri has been promoted to Supervising Probation Officer and has worked as an Specialist in the Early Intervention and Center (EIDC) and as the Specialized Dockets Coordinator. Keri has progressive ideas, is passionate about the youth and familes we serve, and her knowledge of the specialized dockets and experience will assist with the continued of the unit. to our new Specialized Dockets Manager, Keri Bryant!!

Steve joined the Juvenile Court in 2008 and has over 25 years experience working with at-risk in the and residential settings. Steve understands the importance of the Probation Department's mission statement and always has the best interests of the youth and families when considering outcomes. - The Juvenile Court congratulates Yvonne Aufmuth on her to Probation Manager in our Southeast Probation Office. Yvonne began her with the Juvenile Court in 2008 and has been working with the Juvenile Justice/Phoenix Court. One of the Court's lead trainers in EPICS (Effective Practices in Supervision), Yvonne has demonstrated dedication to supporting and servicing court-involved families. Yvonne strongly believes and supports the Probation Transformation model and is dedicated to ensuring it is carried out in the Probation Department. Enjole' is passionate, , culturally-competent, solution-driven and has insight on how to remove potential barriers while implementing for the youth and families we serve.
