Ever wonder what the Ohio City Firehouse use to look like? Built in 1854 and operated as a Firehouse until 1975, the Ohio City Firehouse was home to Engine 4 Ladder 2. A new firehouse was built on Lorain and West 32nd which is currently still active.

8 years ago today we closed on this beaut of a building and became its latest steward. It had been empty for ~ 5 years. We celebrated with dear pals and moved a mattress into what is now . The imagination goggles by friends like have been crucial to bringing vitality back to this space that was originally constructed in 1854. @ Ohio City Firehouse
