This past weekend PSS helped the Cleveland Sight Center host its 21st White Cane Walk.

The White Cane Walk is a fundraising event that both raises awareness of the lives of the blind, visually impaired (BVI) community as well as raising money in support of the Sight Center's mission to help those in the BVI community meet and surpass life's challenges.

PSS has supported this event for a number of years through the deployment of our RightPath line of ADA compliant devices. This year featured BoardWalk ADA ramp and Parakeet Audible Information Device, among others.

We are happy to have supported the White Cane Walk this year and look forward to continuing to do so in the future!

During the third day of National Work Zone Awareness Week all of those who seek to make travel safer are encouraged to dress in orange to raise awareness for traffic and work zone safety. Go Orange Day, as it is called, looks to help remind us that the construction and infrastructure projects that improve our day to day lives are made possible by countless workers who put themselves at risk to make our daily commutes safe.

That risk is something that can always be lowered, reduced through driver awareness not just of the projects, but by those who complete them. At PSS we honor those, both living and passed, by wearing orange to celebrate and protect those whose efforts are the lifeblood of nations.
