Foot patrols and UCPD are pretty synonymous. We walk a lots of beats. Sgt. Tim Caine regularly walks all 12 floors at the Commodore and uses the stairs when going up them. He is in great shape and this is part of the reason !

This beautiful lady from Little Italy CLE gave us some homemade pizzelles for our personnel. Really delicious. They have legit “world famous” potential!

Former University Circle Police Officer Lauren Petit recently visited UCPD to re-sign the mural she created for our department several years ago.

Lauren's artwork continues to serve as a meaningful reminder of the strong bond between law enforcement and the community we serve. We were grateful to welcome her back and value the lasting impact her creativity has made on our department.

Joshua DelManzo, the Special Agent in charge of the Cleveland FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation office sent appreciation letters to Dispatcher Emily Beny, Dispatcher Nikol Saari, Officer Joe Fazio, and Officer George Grubisic for their excellent work in a recent arrest of a male who tried to rob a bank.

Auxiliary Officers Mike Olvera and Marlo Glavin were out doing foot patrol at Wade Oval yesterday. Their high visibility work helps provide a sense of safety and security for our community.
