The Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court is proud to announce Judge Tonya R. Jones has been appointed to participate in the 2026 Judicial Engagement Network (JEN) Fellowship Program, a highly competitive national initiative dedicated to strengthening court responses to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking under the Violence Against Women Act.

Judge Jones is one of only 14 judges nationwide chosen for the 5th JEN Fellowship Cohort — an exceptional honor recognizing judicial leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to survivor-centered justice.

COURT CLOSURE NOTICE

To ensure the safety of our staff and the public, the Domestic Relations Court will be closed on Monday, January 26.

All previously scheduled hearings will be rescheduled. The Court will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 27.

Your presence sent a powerful message: we are united in raising awareness about domestic violence and committed to building a future rooted in safety, respect, and nonviolence.

We extend special thanks to the Healthy Fathering Collaborative and the Male Minority Leadership Group for organizing this year’s event and for their continued work in promoting healthy, non-violent relationships throughout our community.

We’re coming together to pledge to never commit, condone, or remain silent about violence.

The Court will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

We will reopen for normal business hours on Monday.
