There’s still time to register for Joining a Celebration on October 21, 2026, from Noon–1:30 pm.

As part of our Connect with Faculty and Book Discussion series, Dr. Adrienne Gosselin will lead a discussion of Toni Morrison’s Sula.

This event is presented in conjunction with Beloved: Ohio Celebrates Toni Morrison, a statewide celebration honoring Morrison’s life, literature, and legacy.

Two weeks until Joining a Celebration!

Save the date for a special installment of our Connect with Faculty and Book Discussion series on October 21, 2026, from Noon–1:30 pm.

Join us as Dr. Adrienne Gosselin leads an in-depth discussion of Toni Morrison’s Sula. If you haven’t started the book yet, now is a great time to begin so you’ll be ready for the conversation.

This event is part of Beloved: Ohio Celebrates Toni Morrison, a statewide celebration honoring the life, literature, and legacy of Toni Morrison.

October 4–10 is Banned Books Week, a time to celebrate the freedom to read and explore ideas.

This year’s theme is “Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read.”

Libraries connect us with stories, experiences, perspectives, and ideas. This week, we invite you to explore challenged books, learn more about censorship, and celebrate your freedom to choose what you read.

October is National Archives Month! 🗂️

Celebrate by exploring the Cleveland State University Archives, home to photographs, student publications, yearbooks, course catalogs, commencement programs, governance records, and other materials preserving the histories of CSU and Fenn College.

We’re also excited to welcome Michael Skor as CSU’s new University Archivist and Records Manager. Michael will help make the university’s history more discoverable while supporting the preservation of CSU’s institutional records.

Save the date for a special Connect with Faculty and Book Discussion event: Joining a Celebration.

On October 21, 2026, from Noon–1:30 pm, Dr. Adrienne Gosselin will lead an in-depth discussion of Toni Morrison’s Sula as part of Friends of Libraries Week.
