π οΈ Big changes are coming to the Michael Schwartz Library to improve our spaces! Here is what you need to know about upcoming building repairs and transitions starting this summer:
π’ 1st Floor Reopening: Repairs are nearly done! The Learning Commons, computer lab, classrooms, and study spaces will be fully open later this June and ready for the Fall 2026 semester.
π§ 4th Floor Temporary Closure: To fix ongoing water issues, the 4th floor will close from approximately June 15 through the Fall semester (expected completion by December).
π¦ Rhodes Tower Transitions: As abatement work moves to floors 5β9, library staff and tech spaces from floors 5 and 8 are moving down to floors 1β3. Look out for new temporary workspaces this summer!
π¨ ATTN FACULTY: Need print books or materials from the 4th floor for Summer or Fall course reserves? Please submit your requests ASAP before June 15.
