If you've been written up for a 5 year internal inspection and are wondering why would they need to do that. Here is your answer, One picture. This is on a dry system thats poorly maintained. This is the actual supply main. There was 3 or 4 branchlines effected by this sediment.

Alittle while back a customer hired us to fix a fire main leak.where we were digging was a alley way between 4 buildings. There was a ton of mechanicals running through the excavation site. We located the leaks and found the piping to be in poor shape. We ended up replacing 100% of the bad piping. The customer had bad experiences with previous contractors having their new work blowing apart. So they required us to not only pour our thrust blocks, but to rod and anchor every joint. This job was a ton of work and a ton of fighting to get it completed. We even added a couple wall hydrants that the customer wanted

Here is a Fire pump where we pulled the rotating assembly. We checked the shaft and replaced the bearings. After we checked the alignment of the driver. Then to wrap it up we cleaned the body and lid of the pump repacked it and replaced the head gasket. This pump is back in service and ready for hopefully another 20 years of service

Friday we were out on an emergency underground repair. Thwre was an 8 foot long crack with a ½" of separation right on the bottom of an 8" ductile main. With 100 plus psi, this made a major mess. Quick response time, and the knowledge of shutting the main down, enabled us to minimize the mess. From start to finish this was a 1 day repair. We cut out the damaged section and replaced it with new pipe and fittings. Our customer is back in service and no longer on fire watch
