BE A SNOW HERO! West Park Kamm’s Neighborhood Development is sharing an opportunity through the City of Cleveland Department of Aging’s Snow Heroes program, which connects volunteers with older Cleveland residents who need help shoveling a safe path from their home to the sidewalk. We’re looking for more neighborhood volunteers to lend a hand this winter! A little of your time can make a big difference by helping older adults stay safe and accessible during snowy weather.

Sign up using the 2026 volunteer application: Fill | 2026 City of Cleveland-Snow Heroes Volunteer Application. Help spread the word by sharing this post with friends, family, and neighbors! Let’s come together to look out for one another and make our community a little safer this winter. 💙

REMINDER!

Join us this Wednesday, October 14th for our annual tour of Alger Cemetery in partnership with the West Park Historical Society at 6pm.

We will meet in the Kamm's Corners Farmers Market parking lot (16906 Albers Ave) and walk over to the cemetery as a group.

This will be our last Alger Cemetery walk for the foreseeable future. Our gracious host Ross Bassett has decided to step back from leading the walk. We encourage you to come and thank Ross for being such a lively storyteller these past few years.

In the event of heavy rain, the walk will be held on October 21st instead. Check back here for updates.
