What a day in Cleveland! The City of Cleveland, CentroVilla25 and Cleveland Soccer Group brought the community together for an unforgettable World Cup Watch Party in the heart of the Clark-Fulton neighborhood.

Fans gathered at CentroVilla25 to cheer on Spain as they faced Saudi Arabia, enjoying an afternoon filled with street soccer, live music, local food vendors and community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the World Cup and the vibrant Latino culture that makes our city stronger.

Big news! Construction on the Cleveland Memorial Bridges Loop officially kicks off this week.

The Cleveland Memorial Bridges Loop will create a separated path for people walking, running, and biking on Huron Road and Ontario Avenue.

The project will connect the separated bike lane and sidewalk on the Detroit-Superior Bridge to the existing shared-use path near and on the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge.

10 years ago, today, the Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA Championship by defeating the Golden State Warriors 4–3 in the Finals, completing a historic comeback from a 3–1 deficit.

Today, we recognize Juneteenth as a powerful milestone in our nation’s history, marking the end of slavery and the continued pursuit of freedom, justice, and opportunity for all.

More than 160 years later, the strength, resilience, and achievements of Black communities continue to shape Cleveland and our nation in meaningful ways.

In Cleveland, we do more than commemorate Juneteenth. We honor its legacy by continuing the work of advancing equity, expanding opportunity, and building a city where every resident can thrive.

As we celebrate this important day, we reflect on our shared history and recommit ourselves to creating a more inclusive future.

Changes have been made to Cleveland's previously announced parking rates and enforcement hours.

The City of Cleveland, Department of Public Works will extend the hours of several Neighborhood Resource and Recreation Centers (NRCC) to serve as cooling centers for Cleveland residents that are seeking shelter from the warm temperatures expected in the coming days.

Zelma George NRCC: 3155 Martin L. King Blvd.
Collinwood NRCC: 16300 Lakeshore Blvd.

Kovacic NRCC: 6250 St. Clair Ave.
Frederick Douglass NRCC: 15401 Miles Ave.
Each site will have comfort areas for residents and filtered water fountains.

If you’re heading downtown this Saturday, June 6, plan ahead.

Road to 26: Brazil vs. Egypt at Huntington Bank Field and PRIDE in the CLE will bring temporary road closures, ramp impacts, and parking restrictions throughout Downtown Cleveland.

✅ Check parking signage before leaving your vehicle
✅ Use alternate routes when possible

Parking restrictions will begin Friday, June 5, and remain in effect through midnight on Saturday, June 6. Traffic patterns and closure times may change based on real-time conditions to ensure public safety.
