The Orenda 1,000 Book Club was created to help encourage students to develop a life-long love of reading. The club provides students with 100 bags filled with 10 high-quality, age appropriate books. It's an easy and fun way to complete your student's daily reading homework!

The Orenda 1,000 Book Club will be opening on Tuesday, October 6th. Please check our website for 2026-2027 operating hours, FAQs, and student sign-ups: www.sites.google.com/view/orenda1000bookclub

We also need parent volunteers to staff the book club. We are looking for 5-6 volunteers to come to school once or twice a month for an hour to help check in and check out book bags. We will provide training, so no experience is necessary to volunteer. Interested in volunteering or have any questions? Send an email to [email protected]
