SADD has organized dress up days plus a door decorating contest plus an assembly for Friday. Please talk to the young people in your life about the benefits of an alcohol & drug free life.

❤️ BE A HERO THIS RED RIBBON WEEK! ❤️

Being a hero means taking action to protect yourself, your family, and your community! This Red Ribbon Week, the Juvenile Justice Council of Iroquois County encourages everyone to take a few minutes to clean out their medicine cabinets and safely dispose of unwanted or expired medications.

💊 National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 24!

Keeping medications you no longer need can increase the risk of them being lost, stolen, or misused. Proper disposal is one simple way YOU can make a difference and help protect our community, area fish, and wildlife.

📍 Did you know? The Iroquois County Jail accepts unwanted and expired medications at the west door 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Disposal is FREE and anonymous, and no ID is required.

Check out the graphic for additional medication drop-off locations throughout Iroquois County. Contact other sites for their specific drop-off dates and times.

⚠️ Please note: No syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs are accepted.

📸 SNAP A PHOTO of yourself or you with your family, co-workers, classmates, or friends!

🪧 MAKE IT PERSONAL! Want to hold the sign Ollie the Owl is holding in our graphic? You can! We’ve posted a printable version of the sign in the comments. Simply print it out and personalize it with the name of your family, business, classroom, or organization, then include it in your photo!
