Today, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders learned all about apples. With Mrs. Hanson, they had to follow a recipe/directions in groups of 4 to create a pan of apple crisp. Mr. Palm taught a math lesson on fractions and using measuring cups. Ms. Slyt taught the life cycle of apples, producers/consumers, and geography. It was a fun day learning all about apples, and of course the best part was eating what we made!! Thank you to the cooks for baking it for us!

Students in the elementary had a special visitor today when James Evitts stopped in to teach them about fire safety. From checking out the heavy gear to learning essential fire safety tips, our little learners were all smiles! Thank you again to James Evitts and the Climax Fire Department for keeping our community safe and inspiring our students!
