Objective & Delivery

Dickenson County Public Service Authority main objective is to establish a five year, turn key operational contract with options for renewal that will insure 100% regulatory compliance, protects the public health of its citizens and visitors, optimize our municipal utility assets. DPSA is requesting that separate proposals be delivered showing operation of the POTW only, the other proposal showing both operation of the POTW and the seven pump stations together for our consideration. This request is for operation only.

Mandatory Pre- Proposal Conference & Site Tour: October 5, 2026 Please email to DCPSA director names of those that will participate.

Deadline for Written Questions: November 9, 2026 at 3:00PM

Contract Award: November 18, 2026

The Dickenson County Public Service Authority is accepting sealed bids on a 2026 or 2027 4 X 4 Pickup Truck. The following specs listed below have to be met:

Requirements:

• New
• Gray or Silver in color
• Extended Cab
• V8 Engine
• Four-wheel drive
• Work Truck Package (rubber interior mats and cloth interior seats)
• Tow Package
• Bedliner (factory or sprayed in)

*Any incentive or rebate packages should be included in this sealed bid.
*Sealed Bids will be accepted until 3:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2026
* Truck must be available for pickup or delivery within 30 days of acceptance of bid.

*Failure of delivery in specified time will result in forfeiture of sealed bids.

The Dickenson County Public Service Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

FULL-TIME POSITION AT THE DICKENSON COUNTY P.S.A.

The Dickenson County Public Service Authority is soliciting an individual to fill an open position as a Telemetry Operator/Laborer
• Available to work on day shift and weekends
• Possess intermediate computer skills
• Able to work alone or in a group
• Able to do a nominal amount of physical labor in all types of inclement weather
• Assist in residential and master meter readings/work orders
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license along with clean driving record

Application Deadline: September 09, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. or until position is filled.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

A background check and drug testing will be required. Applications may be picked up at the Dickenson County PSA office between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday or it can be printed from our webpage at www.dickensonva.org/105/Public-Service-Authority.
