We had the privilege of recognizing our third successful ROSC (Return of Spontaneous Circulation) in less than a year and third AHA Heartsaver Award recipients at last week's city council meeting.

Along with our patient, we were able to recognize the neighbors who began CPR, the 911 dispatcher, CPD, and CFD personnel who responded.

A true team effort all around and an excellent display of how the Chain of Survival worked.

Building codes do not stand in the way of housing affordability. They help protect it.

In a new HousingWire op-ed, Leslie Chapman-Henderson, President and CEO of the nonprofit , explains how research examining 2.7 million home sales found no sustained evidence that adopting updated building codes drives up home prices.

True affordability means helping families remain safely housed, avoid costly disaster damage and protect their investment for years to come.
