Manufacturing Day at The Morgan School
October is National Manufacturing Month. Did you know that there are over 4000+ manufacturers right here in Connecticut, all of whom are looking for a steady and qualified workforce? A career in manufacturing offers good paying jobs and opportunities for advancement. On Friday, October 9th, The Morgan School hosted several regional manufactures and manufacturing programs to speak with our student body during their lunch waves. This was an exciting opportunity for our students to explore potential careers and see how courses offered at Morgan can help to prepare them for their futures.

Fire prevention week at Joel Elementary School.
A huge thank you to our local heroes at the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department for visiting. Our kids had a blast learning about fire safety, seeing the firefighting gear close-up, and exploring the firetrucks. Fun fact, some of the firefighters you see here are former Joel students!

🌟 More Than a Credit: Find Your Place, Make an Impact! 🌟Our Morgan School students recently explored new ways to connect and give back at the Community Engagement Fair! Organized by the Clinton PlaceMakers, the fair gave students the opportunity to connect with local organizations spanning environmental causes, animal welfare, youth mentorship, local arts, and community support services. At Morgan, community service isn't just about logging hours—it’s about:
✨ Building real-world leadership and communication skills ✨ Exploring potential career paths and building a resume ✨ Earning high school credits and qualifying for local scholarships ✨ Making a meaningful difference right here in our town Whether helping people, caring for animals, protecting the environment, or strengthening our local area, our students are discovering that you don't have to change the entire world to change someone's world. 📸 Check out photos from the fair below! 👇

Morgan students traveled to UConn Avery Point to participate in the annual UConn ECE Cardboard Boat Race. The day brings ECE students from across Connecticut together to experience the UConn campus, participate in academic activities, and put their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test. The day concluded with the always-popular cardboard boat race, where students raced boats built entirely from cardboard and duct tape!
