We are proud to announce that Spivey’s Corner Volunteer Fire Department has received an improved ISO rating of 4.
This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, training, and commitment of our firefighters and the continued support of our community.
We are always striving to improve our service, strengthen our department, and provide the best possible fire protection for the citizens we proudly serve. This improvement is a testament to the teamwork and effort that goes into making our department better every day.
A huge THANK YOU to our firefighters, leadership, mutual aid partners, and community members who help make progress like this possible!
We are proud to serve Spivey’s Corner and the surrounding community, and we look forward to continuing to grow and improve!

Great work tonight by members of Taylor’s Bridge, Garland, Turkey, Harrells and Clinton fire departments on a working house fire in the Taylor Bridge Fire District. Also on scene were Sampson County EMS and Fire Marshal’s office. Great team work by all to ensure a safe out come.

We are excited to share the news that we have improved our ISO rating to a Class 4 as a result of our recent inspection by NCOSFM. Our department had previously held a 5/9S rating. This new rating will be effective 11/1/26.

Thank you to all of our members for the training and effort that they have put in to achieve this result. We are also especially thankful for the support of our Board of Directors and community.
