🍷🧀 Thank you, W**e & Cheese Attendees

A little storm wasn’t going to stop us! Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and joined us for our annual W**e & Cheese Fundraiser. We are so grateful for your support, your energy, and your commitment to electing Democrats up and down the ballot this November.

A very special thank you to the Westbrook DTC for lending us their headquarters and giving us a place to keep the celebration going despite the storm. That’s what partnership across the 35th District looks like!

We were also thrilled to be joined by State Senator Norm Needleman Norm Needleman and our next State Representative, Cinzia Lettieri Cinzia Lettieri
With just 37 days until Election Day, we are in the home stretch—and we are not slowing down. Every door knocked, every phone call made, every postcard written, every lawn sign displayed, and every conversation with a neighbor brings us one step closer to November 3.

The energy is building. The work is happening. And we’re going to keep showing up—rain or shine.

37 days. Let’s get to work and get our Democratic team across the finish line! 💙

Will Bring Limitless Energy

September 9, 2026

Connecticut’s 35th state House district is in luck: Cinzia Lettieri is running for state representative. Many of you have met her in person; she has knocked on more than 1,000 doors in Killingworth alone. She’ll likely be coming to your door soon if you haven’t met her yet.

When she does, tell her what concerns you most about our towns. Cinzia has a passion for making her community a better place to live. She is an outstanding, empathetic listener, and she will respond with serious ideas, not just buzzwords. Then she will bring her limitless energy to actually getting stuff done.

She’ll bring state funds to our town to relieve some of our property tax burden. She’ll make sure our schools provide a wide range of educational pathways for our children. She’ll be a force in the state legislature on women’s health issues. She knows that a clean and sustainable environment depends on sound infrastructure, and she’ll work to include infrastructure initiatives in our district in state planning and funding.

Cinzia’s energy and intelligence are unmatched. How fortunate are we that she wants to use that energy on our behalf? Let’s elect her as our state representative this November.

Tell Your Friends

September 16, 2026

Cinzia Lettieri is running for state representative in the 35th District, and I’ve had a unique opportunity to get to know her. For this election, as of Labor Day, I’ve driven her 575 miles to 1,130 homes in Killingworth to speak with voters and listen to their concerns. I’ve heard how much most voters—even non-Democrats—appreciate her coming out to talk with them. They answer the door, wary that she is selling something, and then become so engaged in talking that I often have to interrupt the conversation so we can knock on more doors!

Since Cinzia first ran for this office in 2024, she has pursued what she identified as her legislative goals. For example, she testified in Hartford in support of a cell phone ban during school hours for children, and she will do so again if she is elected because the House passed the cell phone ban but the Senate did not. Knocking on doors this year, Cinzia is especially focused on the importance of updating the state’s Education Cost Sharing formula, not updated since 2013. This is one way our state representative could help us bear the cost of local schools.

Cinzia is a sixth-grade science and math teacher in Hamden with 15 years’ experience in education policy. She grew up in Clinton and is now raising her young daughter there with her husband. She currently serves on the Clinton Planning & Zoning and Water Pollution Control commissions. Her advocacy for the environment led to the governor appointing her to the Connecticut Council on Environmental Quality in 2025.

If you’ve met Cinzia, please tell your friends about her and encourage them to join you in voting for her by Nov. 3.

A little rain didn’t stop all three towns in the 35th!

Yesterday, we were thrilled to welcome Attorney General William Tong, State Representative Nick Gauthier, Nick Gauthier State Representative Cristin McCarthy Vahey, Cristin McCarthy Vahey volunteers from Clinton, Killingworth, and Westbrook, and the chairs of all three DTCs in the 35th District for a rainy-day door-knocking blitz in support of our candidate for State Representative, Cinzia Lettieri! Cinzia Lettieri

We thank AG William Tong for his words of inspiration and all the work he is doing on behalf of the people of CT. So lucky to have him!

Cinzia grew up right here in Clinton, and now she’s raising her own family in the community that raised her. She’s been putting in the work across all three towns—knocking thousands of doors, listening to our neighbors, and hearing firsthand about the issues that matter to families throughout the 35th District.

From strengthening our public schools and addressing the cost of living to protecting our shoreline and making sure Clinton, Killingworth, and Westbrook have a strong voice in Hartford, Cinzia is ready to bring the voices of our communities with her.

And this weekend showed exactly what this campaign is about: people from all three towns coming together and doing the work 💪☔️

Who did Clinton go to, to get the support and funding to move Clinton forward? State Senator Norm Needleman. We need elected officials who walk the walk and deliver for our town. Not photo ops and cheesy slogans. Real results. Period. Thanks Norm!

Knowledge, Energy, and Skills

September 9, 2026

My wife Susan and I happily discovered the friendly and charming town of Clinton in the early 1990s and have happily lived, worked and served here in business and as volunteers in a number of areas of need, including human rights concerns and zoning and environmental regulation to support the well-being of our local communities.

It is through our volunteerism that we first got to know Cinzia Lettieri and witnessed all of her intelligent, hard work in town, which is why we are pleased to endorse her candidacy for state representative in our 35th District of Clinton, Killingworth and Westbrook.

Among her many public service activities, Cinzia is a member of the Clinton Planning & Zoning and Water Pollution Control commissions, helping to protect the environmental health and beauty of our shoreline town. As a science teacher, she brings technical knowledge to these important roles, not to mention valuing the importance of education and family.

With a master’s degree in education in policy and leadership, Cinzia has spent the past 17 years in education, policy and advocacy.

We are quite excited that she brings such broad knowledge, impressive energy and people skills that will be important assets as she works to protect the critical interests of all our neighbors who count on smart, fair, capable leaders to take these government roles seriously and who are dedicated to stepping up and serving.
