🏆 RECOGNIZING OUR CLIVE FIRE DEPARTMENT EMS TEAM! 🚒
On July 11, 2026, seven EMS personnel from the Clive Fire Department were recognized for their critical role in a stabbing incident where quick action and teamwork helped save a life.
Thanks to the swift response of Westcom Emergency Communications dispatchers Mueller and Etter and Clive Police Officers Lamp and Townes, lifesaving care began before EMS arrived on scene. Our EMS team continued that critical care upon arrival.
👏 Congratulations to our recognized Clive Fire Department EMS personnel: Luke Clement, Jason Glaza, Austin Davis, Nathaniel Bair, Caden Hudson, Brendan Bobst, and Alan Delker!
We are proud of our crewmembers and grateful to our partners at Westcom and Clive Police for their quick thinking, decisive actions, and teamwork.
This incident is a powerful reminder that when dispatch, law enforcement, and fire/EMS work together, every second counts and lives can be saved.
Congratulations to everyone recognized for their efforts!

🚑 🚒 We had the best time visiting the kids at Seeds of Faith Early Learning Center for Fire Prevention Week!

Our crews brought Engine 320 and Ambulance 323 so the kids could see them up close. They learned what each one does, from the hoses and tools we use to fight fires to the equipment we use to take care of people who are sick or hurt.

Then came the best part: every kid got to climb inside and tour both rigs! We saw a lot of big smiles inside those trucks. 😊

Parents, ask your little ones what they saw inside the fire engine. It's a great way to start a conversation about fire safety at home.
