WE ARE BACK ON!!! Candidates were invited to this event by the on August 11th, 2026. Following the initial cancellation of the event, Chris Swanson For House + Mary Carlson’s Campaigns invited Senator Jason Rarick and Representative Jeff Dotseth to still participate in the forum at Moose Lake Community School at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23rd.

We are adopting all the rules set forth by the chamber in order to make this a fair and family friendly event. Some of the rules the chamber put forward were:

- If a candidate is unable to attend or does not appear, the event will proceed as scheduled, and the candidate’s designated place on stage will remain unoccupied.
- Each candidate will have 60 seconds for opening remarks.
- Candidates will respond to six questions, with 90 seconds allotted for each response.

The communication from the chamber will be in the comments so you can see the rules were set by a non-partisan group.

We are looking forward to a wonderful event in which constituents can hear directly from the candidates. Please join us!
