Congratulations to our Bethany teachers, staff, and students for this 8 point gain! Way to shine Bethany blue eagles!
The South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) today released State Report Cards for schools.
The report cards, which compile school and district performance on a number of assessments previously released by SCDE, compare student performance against a series of benchmarks and provide ratings in various categories, including Academic Achievement, Preparing for Success, English Learnersβ Progress, Graduation Rate and College and Career Readiness.
Clover School District is proud to announce strong results on the 2025-26 South Carolina School Report Cards, with nine of ten schools earning ratings of Good or Excellent and several schools posting significant gains over the previous year.
Some prominent highlights of overall scores include several schools with big gains. In the Excellent category, Crowders Creek led the district by increasing its score by nine points, followed by Larne, which increased its score by seven points. Bethany Elementary improved from Average to Good with an eight point gain. Oakridge Middle School advanced from Good to Excellent with a three point gain. Although Clover Middle School maintained its Good rating, it improved by two points, just outside the Excellent rating.
It is notable that nine of ten schools earned an Excellent rating in the Academic Achievement category. Two schools, Crowders Creek and Larne, also earned Excellent in Student Progress (growth), a difficult feat for schools scoring in the Excellent range overall.
Clover High School had a banner year, earning an Excellent rating in five of the seven categories, including Academic Achievement, Graduation Rate, High School Student Success, College and Career Readiness, and School Climate, the school earned the highest marks in each category.
