Our second graders put on their lab coats and goggles and transformed into scientists at the Crowders Creek Laboratory this week! 🥼🧪🥽

As part of their science unit on matter (solids, liquids, and gases) and their properties, our young scientists got hands-on with some exciting experiments! They explored Glowbleck and Glow Dough, created Glow Crystals, and discovered the poppin’ truth about Alka-Seltzer and tonic water! 🫧💥🧫

There was so much curiosity, creativity, and scientific discovery happening in our lab, and our students had an absolute BLAST! 💚✨

A HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing parent volunteers who helped lead each activity and to our generous families for donating materials from our wishlist!

We couldn’t have made this glowing science experience possible without our incredible school community! 💫

Our 4th Grade students applied their knowledge of rocks to investigate whether a rock is permeable or impermeable using three rock samples: chalk, pumice, and marble.

They then put their learning into action by creating their very own Sedimentary Edible Rocks, check out the layers! This hands-on activity was a fun way for students to connect science concepts to a memorable, real-world experience.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible families who came out to McDonald’s for McTeacher’s Night!

It was so much fun seeing our Crowders Creek Elementary staff behind the counter and in the drive-thru, but the best part was seeing our wonderful school community gather together.

What an incredible way to launch All Pro Dad at Crowders Creek Elementary! 🦅💙
A huge THANK YOU to all of the dads and father figures who showed up this morning to invest in their children and be part of this special experience. Your presence, encouragement, and commitment make a lasting difference in the lives of our students.
Today was just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see everyone again for our next All Pro Dad meeting on October 13!
