Got expired or unused medications collecting dust? We’ve got just the place for them!

Join Cloverdale PD for the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Saturday, October 24th from 10 am to 2 pm you can drop off medication in the Cloverdale PD Lobby

What can you bring? Tablets, capsules, patches, over-the-counter medications, pet medications, and securely sealed liquids.

What can’t you bring? Syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs

This nationwide initiative provides a safe, free, and anonymous way to dispose of unwanted medications while helping prevent drug misuse, accidental poisonings, and environmental harm.

No questions, no hassle, and no cost! Just a simple way to keep our homes and community safer.

Don’t let those old medications overstay their welcome!

CalFire Traffic Controls In Effect Near Washington School Monday Morning

CalFire crews will be implementing traffic control near Washington Middle School tomorrow, Monday morning, between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. in support of firefighting operations related to the Cooley Fire northwest of Cloverdale. Please avoid unnecessary travel in the area. Washington School morning student drop-offs will be permitted as usual but delays are possible. Afternoon student pick-ups should not be impacted as minimal CalFire activity is expected in the area at the end of the school day.

Please help locate **David Everet White, age 74**, who was last seen on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m. near **South Cloverdale Boulevard and Sandholm Lane in Cloverdale, California.**

- 👤 Male, 74 years old
- 📏 Height: 5'4" | Weight: 175 lbs
- 💇 Gray hair | Green eyes
- 👕 Wearing a green shirt, gray pants, and brown boots
- 🪖 Wearing a black helmet and riding a black electric bike (e-bike)

Do you know this good boy?

This sweet (and very friendly!) boy was found near the south end of town by the South Cloverdale Boulevard Overpass at approximately 1:30 pm today, September 28.

He was out on an adventure without a collar, so a kind citizen brought him to the Cloverdale Police Department. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to tell us his name, address, or who his humans are.

Our new friend has been taken to the Healdsburg Humane Society, where he’ll be safe and cared for while we work to reunite him with his family.

If you recognize this handsome guy, or know who he belongs to, please contact Healdsburg Humane Society at 707-431-3386, or call the Cloverdale Police Department for additional information.
