🇺🇸🎉 Student Awards Contest | Happy Birthday America!

In 2026, America celebrates 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence—and we’re inviting students to help us celebrate!

This year’s theme is “Happy Birthday America,” challenging students to explore what America’s 250-year story means to them and how Veterans are part of that enduring legacy.

🎨 Elementary School | Art Contest
✍️ Intermediate School | Essay Contest
💻 High School | Digital Contest

For 250 years, generations of Americans have shaped our nation through service, courage, creativity, citizenship, and sacrifice. Veterans have played an essential role in that story by serving our country and defending its freedoms.

Now it’s time for the next generation to share their perspective and help tell America’s story.

🇺🇸 250 Years. One American Story. The Next Chapter Starts With You.

📚❤️Give Like Dolly Day is coming September 25! ❤️📚

Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger – and this year, we’re celebrating that spirit right here in Fresno County through Give Like Dolly Day.

On September 25, we’re inviting our community to join us in giving back to children by supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Fresno County. Your support helps make it possible for children in our community to receive a free, high-quality book every month from birth to age 5.

📖Learn how you can support local children by visiting lfcfresno.org/DPIL or the link in our bio.

Today, Clovis Country Lions Club joins our community and our nation in solemn remembrance of September 11, 2001.

We honor the lives lost, the first responders and heroes who answered the call, and the countless acts of courage, compassion, and unity that followed.

May we continue to carry forward the spirit of service and togetherness that reminds us what it means to stand as one.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

💜 SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION AWARENESS MONTH

Sometimes the most meaningful act of service is simply being there.

A phone call. A conversation. A listening ear. Asking someone, “Are you okay?” — and taking the time to truly hear the answer.

Connection matters. Compassion matters. People matter.

As Lions, serving our communities means more than meeting physical needs. It also means caring for the emotional well-being of our neighbors, friends, families, and fellow community members.

This month, we encourage everyone to check in, listen without judgment, and help connect those who may be struggling with the support they need.
Together, we can help create communities where no one feels they have to struggle alone.

💜 Reach out. Listen. Support. Connect.
