To increase and provide affordable, accessible, and quality housing solutions and supportive services that promote self-sufficiency and independence for Veterans, individuals, and families experiencing housing instability and homelessness. Our programs for the homeless give back to the community in many ways – by helping individuals and families attain and maintain a productive life; by providing disadvantaged children with the opportunity to grow and learn in a stable, nourishing environment; by providing housing for the elderly, mentally and physically disabled who would otherwise have nowhere to go; and by rehabilitation of neighborhood slums into attractive, affordable homes. These services help to eliminate housing instability, self-medication/drug and alcohol addictions, which will reduce hospitalization, associated criminal activity and incarceration, saving Brevard thousands of tax dollars.

🏠 Fox Pointe Resident Spotlight

Deborah was one of the very first residents to call Fox Pointe home after experiencing homelessness, and her journey is a beautiful testament to resilience, courage, and growth. From the beginning, she has embraced HFH’s supportive services, strengthened her budgeting skills, and continued to pursue her health and wellness goals with determination.

HFH staff affectionately call her our “Neighborhood Watch,” as she can often be found relaxing on her balcony and taking in the comings and goings throughout the community. 👀 With her warm spirit, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor, Deborah brings joy and connection to Fox Pointe every day. 😊

She says she feels blessed to have HFH, but we feel just as fortunate to have Deborah as part of our community. Her presence, progress, and perseverance remind us what it means to truly find home and belonging. 💜

We had such a great evening at Fox Pointe this week!

Villa and Tonya from T & R Helping Hands Corp joined us for a thoughtful discussion about self-care, as well as the events, programs, and activities our residents would like to see at Fox Pointe in the future.

Ashley Jones from Mary Kay then treated everyone to a little pampering with charcoal face masks!

It was an evening filled with reflection, relaxation, and plenty of laughs. We’re grateful for the amazing community partners who continue to bring new opportunities and experiences to Fox Pointe, with many more to come.

⚓️Arrr! Today, Beata (aka Ms. B) and Danielle had to stow their pirate gear for afternoon commitments, but our friends at Project Response lent us an eye patch and a couple of pirates for a photo op!

We wrapped up our Care Fair voyage at Eastern Florida State College’s Titusville campus, where we met a wonderful crew of community providers and students. We can’t wait to welcome aboard all the students who signed up to volunteer!

Ahoy, mateys! It was Chelsea and Sarah’s turn to hoist the sails and head to Eastern Florida State College’s Care Fair in Cocoa today. Our Orchid Lake crew made port to meet community partners and invite students aboard for volunteer opportunities at HfH!

The holidays are on the horizon, and we need all hands-on deck. Help our crew host events, deliver holiday meals and toys, and spread cheer across the community. No pirate experience required—just a big heart and a willingness to lend a hand. Arrr you ready to join us? 🏴‍☠

Danielle and Greg set sail for Eastern Florida State College to participate in the annual Care Fair, connect with potential volunteers, and meet fellow community partners.

HFH is grateful for our partnership with EFSC, which continues to strengthen community engagement and has recently expanded through participation in the Work-Study Program which brought us our new Marketing and Engagement Assistant, Kahlil!

🎉✂️Exciting news! HTG and HFH are eager to announce our upcoming Forest Glen development in Titusville! Forest Glen will provide affordable housing for age 62+

Built across more than 11 acres, the development will encompass more than 71,300 square feet of space featuring a multipurpose club house, state of the art fitness center, BBQ grill stations, luxury swimming pool, bocce ball court, and a dog park🐾.

🏠Residents will benefit from weekly check-ins, access to social and wellness events, and a financial management program!

💜We are very grateful to Daytona State College for consistently showing up for our residents at Fox Pointe, HfH’s Volusia County location!💚

📝Heidi and Isabelle from the Daytona State College Financial Aid Department joined us at Fox Pointe as part of our ongoing partnership to give a hands-on workshop focused on completing the FAFSA and increased understanding of financial aid resources!

👐For some of our residents, the idea of starting or returning to college can feel overwhelming or even out of reach.. Having knowledgeable and supportive professionals right here in their community can help overcome barriers and turn “I don’t think I can..” into “I can!”

A truly SPECIAL shoutout to Heidi and Isabelle for working directly with our residents, answer their questions, and make the financial aid process feel less intimidating. Thank you for your time, inspiration and willingness to help people where it truly matters!💜

Last but definitely not least, we have to recognize Jim Gustafson, Daytona State College Career Services Manager, who has spearheaded this partnership from the very beginning! 💚

Jim has continuously made it a priority to connect Fox Pointe residents with resources, opportunities, and support through Daytona State College. We give our heartfelt gratitude to everyone on the Daytona State College team for investing in our residents and believing in what they can accomplish.

💜We would like to send a HUGE thank you to William & Evon Chaney of William Chaney Insurance.

They volunteered their time at our Fox Pointe Back to School Event where they provided backpacks, school supplies, rolls and hot dogs to help celebrate the new school year!

They have also provided a number of school supplies to our PSH Program children. Their contributions have brought countless smiles to the faces of those in need.
