Today is World Alzheimer's Day, so we're taking a moment to help raise awareness and challenge the stigma surrounding Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

We recognize that it's not easy to talk about memory problems, so we'd like to share some resources on how to approach such a difficult topic. Together we can help support our loved ones for many years to come.

Music is powerful. Music therapy can be an important tool to help with brain health and wellbeing for those in Memory Care. Music helps enhance the cognitive functions of speech, memory, learning, and emotional systems.

Music therapy can include playing instruments, rhythmic movement, or just putting on some familiar tunes. It provides a way to connect with one another, even as other forms of communication have become difficult.
