Decorate a wooden picture frame to your liking!
Paint your frame, bedazzle it, or add other textural elements like shells and sea glass – or all of the above! We will attach materials to the frame using mod podge.

Fizzical Fairytales presents:
"Finding Rhymes as Diggy Digs: A Little History of Nursery Rhymes."
Deirdre Trowel—Archaelogist (friends call her ‘Diggy’), and partner,
Dug, sift through Medieval evidence of well known children’s songs & rhymes. Inspect the treasures they find. Sing the songs they unearth. Play the games children played hundreds of years ago.
All the while, you’ll be learning a little about the lives of children in the Middle Ages.

A young archaeologist and her partner explore the history of children's songs and games in this theatrical look at the past.

Vermont Stage presents The Imaginators by Dwayne Hartford this Thursday at 1:00 PM.
VT Stage brings the joy of theatre to the Burnham Library! When siblings Anne and Tim move to a new town, Anne wants to seem older—and wants nothing to do with her little brother. Then the next-door neighbor appears: the fabulous Nina Frances Elizabeth Vanderhelden, master of make-believe. With moving boxes and odds-and-ends from the garage, Nina launches the trio into an epic adventure where they outwit the child-eating Mooklecratz, discover hidden bravery, and learn how much stronger they are together. By the end, Anne, Tim, and Nina remind us that imagination isn’t just play—it’s a powerful tool for facing fears, making friends, and seeing ourselves anew, and it invites kids and adults never to lose their sense of play and creativity. This play includes a brief meet and greet with the actors in costume after the show!
Ideal for children ages 5 and above.

Siblings Anne and Tim move to a new town and are soon launched into an epic adventure.

A new Storywalk® has been installed at Village Park!
The story they chose is the bilingual version of Please Mr. Panda by Steve Antony (Please, Mr. Panda / Por favor, Sr. Panda).
This is a great story for meeting some adorable animals, checking your manners and, as a bonus, learning a little Spanish.
Thank you to the members of Burnham's Teen Advisory Board for preparing and installing the story.
