The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reports that there is no specific antiviral treatment for measles. However, these steps can help support recovery and reduce the spread of illness:

-Get plenty of rest: Give your body time to recover.
-Eat nutritious foods: Fruits, vegetables, and other healthy foods provide essential nutrients.
-Drink plenty of fluids: Fever can increase the risk of dehydration, so staying hydrated is important.
-Stay home: Measles is highly contagious. Follow your health care provider’s guidance on isolation and when it is safe to be around others.
