A Quick Library Hours Update!

On Thursday, October 8th, Ms. Tara will be attending the Iowa Library Association Conference in Cedar Rapids—an opportunity to learn, connect with other library professionals, and bring new ideas and resources back to our community!

Because of our short staffing that day, the library will be open 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.

We apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding and continued support of your local library!

Check out our story from the Dyersville Commercial!

It was a milestone worth marking Sept. 26, as the Colesburg Public Library turned 40.

We want to send a HUGE heartfelt thank-you to everyone who volunteered their time, donated, helped behind the scenes, and—most importantly—came out to celebrate our 40th birthday with us!

Our library truly wouldn’t be what it is without the support, generosity, and love of our community. Seeing so many familiar faces, families, friends, and neighbors come together to celebrate made this day incredibly special.

We are so grateful for the past 40 years and so excited for the next 40 years of serving our community! Here’s to many more memories, programs, stories, and celebrations together.

Check out some pictures from all the fun! And if you took pictures today, we would LOVE to see them! Feel free to share them in the comments or tag the Colesburg Library.

Thank you for helping make our 40th birthday one to remember!

Here’s to the next 40 years! 🥳

🩷Ms. Tara
