We're coming into the home stretch and I need your help. I have just contracted for print ads, streaming video ads, and radio ads. They demonstrate my qualifications and desire to represent the people of northcentral Wisconsin in the State Senate. Increased funding for public education, incentives for health care facilities and providers to locate here, and my plan for universal childcare are at the core of my candidacy. Healthy, well-rounded, and prosperous citizens are the backbone of "Rural Revitalization". From purchasing yard signs to road signs, to paint for more road signs, to brochures to postage for brochures, it has been a long, continuous - and expensive journey. Today, I received a letter of endorsement from the Wisconsin Teamsters Joint Council No. 39. It expressed its appreciation for my experience: "as a former social worker, dairy farmer, and business leader from rural Colfax, you bring a grounded, firsthand understanding of what working families in western and northern Wisconsin need: stronger public schools, lower property taxes, and real investment in rural communities and child care".
