The Fruit Exchange is hosting its Enchanted Forest Sip & Shop, an after-hours evening of shopping, sipping and costumes on Railroad Street. Witches, warlocks, fairies and every other magical creature are welcome.

What a blessing to receive feedback like this after our very first Iron Horse Music Festival! ❤️

What a day! EPIC music, a packed downtown, and SO MANY people on their feet dancing, smiling, and enjoying every minute!

But you know what made it even more special?

❤️ Neighbors reconnecting with neighbors they hadn't seen in years.

❤️ New visitors discovering the charm of Historic Colfax for the first time.

❤️ Friends from Auburn, Grass Valley, Nevada City, and our surrounding communities coming together to celebrate.

❤️ Seeing Main Street filled with LIFE, MUSIC, and COMMUNITY!

THIS is what bringing downtown back to life looks like!

We are incredibly grateful to the Levitt Family Foundation for believing in our community and helping us launch this brand-new event. Their support helped turn a big idea into an unforgettable day!

Start your Sunday the Colfax way — with a stack of pancakes and a room full of neighbors 🥞

VFW Post 2003 is firing up the griddle for its monthly All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast this Sunday, October 11, at the Colfax Veterans Memorial Hall. For a $12 suggested donation, you get all-you-can-eat fluffy pancakes, 2 eggs cooked to order, your choice of ham or sausage plus fresh coffee and orange juice.

Bringing the whole crew? Kids 5 and under eat free, and families of 4 or more eat for $38.

Every plate does good — proceeds support local veterans, active service members and their families. Together with the VFW Auxiliary, funds also help first responders, teachers and scholarships for local students.

Hi neighbors! The Iron Horse Music Festival is tomorrow, and we’d love to see you there. It’s free, all ages, and right on South Main Street in downtown Colfax.
