Great Job Collierville Police Department! 💪🏻
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s newly released Crime in Tennessee 2025 report shows that Collierville remains one of the safest places in the state to live, work, and raise a family. The data highlights Collierville’s strong standing among Tennessee municipalities with populations over 40,000. Collierville ranks 5th safest in the entire state.
Group A offenses, tracked through Tennessee’s incident based reporting system, include a wide range of crimes against people, property, and society, such as assaults, burglaries, thefts, vehicle thefts, fraud, drug violations, and weapons offenses.
Collierville’s Group A crime rate was approximately 43 percent below the statewide average. In 2025 Collierville had the lowest number of reported crimes since 2004. Early data from 2026 indicates that Collierville is trending toward an even lower number of reported offenses than in 2025. Collierville has seen a steady decline in crime since 2020.
“These numbers reflect the daily dedication of our officers, dispatchers, detectives, jailers, and professional staff,” said Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane. “They also show the tremendous impact of Collierville’s engaged and supportive community. Keeping Collierville safe is truly a team effort, and we are grateful for everyone who plays a part.”
The Collierville Police Department remains committed to professional proactive policing, strong community partnerships, and continuous improvement to ensure Collierville remains a safe, welcoming place for all.
