The Haddon Township Police Department is once again proud to participate in — a nationwide initiative offering free and anonymous disposal of unneeded, expired, or unused prescription medications.

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT – HADDON AVENUE CLOSURE 🚧
Please be advised that Haddon Avenue will be closed from 6:00 AM until midnight on Saturday to accommodate the festival.

A detour map is attached to this post. Please review it before traveling through the area and plan accordingly. Motorists should expect traffic delays and allow extra time when traveling nearby.

The Haddon Township Police Department stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Philadelphia Police Department following the tragic shooting of two officers while responding to a call in West Philadelphia early this morning.

Behind every badge is a person, a family, and loved ones who pray for their safe return home at the end of every shift. Today, we ask our community to join us in keeping these officers and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations to Detectives Treger and Graham!

The Haddon Township Police Department is proud to recognize Det. Treger and Det. Graham for being honored by the Haddon Township Fire Marshal's Office and Westmont Fire Company No. 1 for their commitment to upholding compliance with the New Jersey International Fire Code.

The awards were presented during the Westmont Fire Company’s Annual Fire Prevention Open House in recognition of their assistance with fire investigations, conducting interviews, and preparing investigative reports. Their efforts demonstrate the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and our local fire service in ensuring accountability and maintaining public safety.

Strong partnerships between our police officers, firefighters, and other public safety professionals are essential to keeping Haddon Township safe. We are grateful for the continued collaboration with the Haddon Township Fire Marshal's Office and Westmont Fire Company, and we are proud to see our officers recognized for their hard work and commitment to serving our residents.

👮‍♂️🐾 A Special Visit to Van Sciver!

After receiving some great letters from Van Sciver School’s 3rd graders, filled with messages of support and lots of questions about being a police officer, we decided to stop by and answer their questions in person!

Of course, we brought K-9 Ivy along for the visit… and as expected, she stole the show! 🐕‍🦺💙

🎓 Congratulations, Lieutenant Mark Pagano!

The Haddon Township Police Department is proud to announce that Lieutenant Mark Pagano has been selected to attend the 300th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia!

The FBI National Academy is one of the most prestigious and selective law enforcement leadership programs in the world. Less than 1% of law enforcement leaders have the opportunity to attend. The intensive 10-week residential program provides advanced training in leadership, communication, fitness, and contemporary law enforcement practices.

Lt. Pagano’s selection is an exceptional professional accomplishment and also reflects our department’s continued commitment to investing in the training and development of our leaders so that we can provide the highest level of service to the residents of Haddon Township and Audubon Park.

Congratulations, Lt. Pagano, and best of luck as you prepare to represent our department at the FBI National Academy’s historic 300th Session!

We Will Never Forget — September 11, 2001

Today, the Haddon Township Police Department joins our nation in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the innocent lives taken far too soon, and the countless families forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember their courage, sacrifice, and service.

May we never forget those we lost, those who answered the call, and the unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed.
